I
think that I was in the nonduality ‘thing’ that people talk about a long, long
time ago. Since I was a kid. I was free and identified with everything. I think
that once the society comes around, - especially school- it dampens that out.
And…what is worse, people who are trapped, which is nearly everyone,- or
everyone,- sense it, are jealous of it on a deep and hidden level,- and resent
it. You have something they don’t have. Or, - the funny thing is, - they have
something you don’t have- what they have is over-identification or
identification. It’s like they received a sickness that you did not, - and they
and everyone else are infected. Plato about person who is trapped in a cave with
others, - and he escapes sees the sun. Then he comes back and tells the others
that what they know is not all there is- and they end up not only disbelieving
him, but killing him! So, that is how it goes. And the clearer the perception
is about it, the more you can see that others are suffering. What is scary
crazy to the max! - Is that they are not aware of it, - and are even wearing
their identity as a badge of honor- they will die for it if need be. Osho said
Gurdjieef used to go up to actors or politicians and say, - you have a good
mask. I wonder if any of them understood, or if anyone these days would
understand. Well- I had never heard of the words no duality, Vedanta, or
advaita until a few years ago. My destiny unfortunately is not to be a teacher of
those, or a writer or a photographer, - or anything set it seems- and my
vocation or destiny or karma and kismet is definitely not anywhere in or
nearabouts the mainstream as in a career. So- I am wherever, - all and nowhere
truly. Those are some of the things I think about when I think about what they
call nonduality.
So
Nonduality. A word. The reason I like it is because everything and nothing is
contained in it so to speak. Other types of spirituality are in a way very
harmful because they are presenting intentionally or otherwise a form and a
goal. So, if you get the form right you will get the goal. And even then- you
will feel victorious. And if you don’t, you will feel lacking. In both rights,
- there is a you, whereas in Nonduality there is not a you, just a functioning
you, a tool so to speak, - and there is definitely no goal. Now,- you can fall
into the nonduality trap as they call it, and go around with only an intellectual
repeating, mantra of it and say- There is no goal,- neti-neti (not this or
that), and I am not a person. But that is just a front. Real nonduality has
nothing to do with words, though words appear in it. Real nonduality is before
all that,- is just the sun on the pavement, the rain on crashing on the window,
the person walking past, the dog running up a hill, the fan’s motor turning the
blades. It is just what is called reality. Yet, - it can encompass everything
else, - that is arising, - such as emotions, all of them,-and everything else-
how could it not? - If nonduality means ‘not two,’- but one? So nonduality is
simply ahead of its time, before time- the ultimate all inclusive,
non-exclusive, thing. Nonduality allows all and everything, - not because it is
some tolerant dogma, - but because it is simply scientific reality, - reality
is One, - because, - and this is plain to me in mind and in senses, - not because
God is great or Source is Divine, or anything as romantic as that, - but
because how could physical reality be anything else than One, - how could it be
separate. This brings up another interesting factor. – There is no cause and
effect though the whole world thinks there is. It’s the oddest, most bizarre
statement every made (not originally by me) - a few others have said so- a very
few I think though- that there is no cause and effect. It’s all one motion,
impossible to be separated out. You did not create you though you may think you
did. The entire universe, the entire existence, created what is appearing in
This as You. And you are the entire Universe. This is not ‘the good news,’ and
this is not ‘the bad news.’ This is, if you think of the enormity of these
statements, ‘The bizarre news!’
Peace
out for now……………………
