NONDUALITY AND WHY YOU CAN’T LOSE

Even though nonduality is not a thing, a system, a way of life, a non-way of life, or anything like that, - for conversation’s sake, let’s say it is something. Let’s say it is, to use nonduality nomenclature, what is left when the story, the autobiography, the feeling of being someone, falls away and existence itself, a sort of open secret  and as is, lives itself through an apparent body-mind. Well, one might think, that sounds fine enough, but it has not happened here.

 

If existence is One, then it has to happen. And if not during apparent biological life, then when one dies there would probably be an entering into the whatever is/isn’t that comes after the personality falls away. And there is more. If the person does not like that idea, the idea of not being a person, then there is every chance that he/she will be after death a person again. The reason why is because if all this happened before, even the illusion of personhood, then why can’t it happen again? Look at it this way: Do you remember creating yourself? No. Therefore there is no worry, - existence brought you this far. 

It will take you all the way, into no-personhood, and into personhood again. Who is to say you cannot become what is regarded an enlightened (read nobody), and unenlightened (read somebody), a thousand, a million and more, times.
