NONDUALITY: THE CLOSE IS THE COSMIC

That is not any type of original thought either, but just another way of saying an old adage. It’s used in various ways at various intersections of thought and by different sources. One example is in the green movement, - are they not the group that somewhere said about recycling to ‘Think globally. Act locally.’ Another example among many could be literary magazines. A lot of them like to say that big themes can be addressed through immediate or everyday interactions in stories. Or, I guess that is in a way true of most stories.

But in nonduality it is meant quite literally. See, in the other examples nobody thinks that the world is right here always, and all of it. It would be regarded as insane to a regular mind and mindset. They mean think about the planet, think about the human experience. In nonduality the close is the cosmic for real! Whatever is happening is all that is happening. There is not even a choice. Far from meaningless, events, people, intuitions, themes, actions, non-actions, memory, the tool of time that appears inside of timelessness, and a thousand other things,- take on great significance. 

Everything means lots.

Everything is important.

The asleep pick and choose.

The awake don’t.

The close is not trivial.

The close is more than important.

The close is the cosmic.
