A film term
for everything behind the camera. Everything in this sense means everything.
That would be one thing. It’s just one thing. Everything is one thing. Existence
becomes the mise en scene. Simple. But the term implies the visual. What about
the hearing, the tasting, the touching, the mind? All is included. And here is
the funny part. What about the sense of ‘I’. Is that part of this new mise en
scene? Yes. If there is nothing that is not it, then there is nothing that is
not it.
