Is non-duality
exclusive? Does it have any say on truth? Of course not. If it did, it would
not be nonduality but something else. So, the funny thing is that true
nonduality could, if so inclined, enjoy a charismatic Christian minister at a
summer revival. This minister could speak of hell-fire and demons, of the wages
of sin and everlasting torment. He or she could predict a future that included
angels, heaven, pearly gates and more. He or she could even predict these good
things for his or her own congregation alone. Nonduality allows this because it
would be, in ‘reality’ or the appearance of it, a seeming person just speaking.
Nobody should take offense in that instance too much, because would someone who
speaks another language, like Chinese, Russian, Greek, or the like, - either like
or dislike what was being said? In pure sort of beingness, for lack of better
words, they are just sounds coming from a mouth. And…where it gets really super
ultra weird, is that if anything that happens happens inside of the oneness and
things apparently happen, who is to say that the preacher could even be
incorrect. Maybe he is correct and we are incorrect to think he is incorrect.
