Though
nondualtiy is generally not about any of those things, most if not all
nonduality seems to take the stance that they don’t exist, are illusions and
such. This is where nonduality might be making a big mistake. The responsible
thing to say would be simply that one does not know. A nonduality teacher would
probably laugh at the idea of a soul, and say, like they do, Lets examine that.
Where is the soul? Is it in your arm? In your head? In your heart.- and
deconstruct everything in order to show a hard a so-called necessary truth to
the seeker that the seeker is what is in the way of what is being sought, which
is reality, source, God, wholeness. But, what if there is a soul, inside of the
body? What if it comes again and again, flying from the corpse to new adventures
and vistas? How could a person negate what they do not know one way or the
other?
